Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly remain interested in William Carvalho, with the player still seeing a move to Molineux as his most preferred option.
The Portuguese international has been extensively linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.
Along with Wolves – Leicester City, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with Carvalho, who is currently with La Liga outfit Real Betis.

Spanish news outlet Estadio Deportivo report that Leicester are the front runners for the midfielder’s signature, with talks proceeding at a good pace.
However, it is also suggested that a move to the King Power is not his first choice, with Wolves a more desirable move.
Wolves have a rich Portuguese influence, right the way down from head coach Nuno Espirito Santo. And Estadio claims that Carvalho’s agents have maintained contact with Molineux decision-makers.
The main stumbling block for a move to Wolves appears to be the fact that Betis are desperate for a deal to be concluded as soon as possible.
The report adds that Wolves are pleading for some patience, with the club still waiting to see whether they can secure a berth in next season’s Champions League.
Those hopes took a serious dent on Saturday, as Nuno’s men were beaten at home by Arsenal. It leaves Wolves trailing Manchester United, who currently occupy the fifth place, by three points and a further two behind Chelsea in fourth.
